Matt Purger’s Coffee Profile

Recipe:

204 degrees Fahrenheit

1:15 water to coffee ratio

Matt Purger’s recipe was the first coffee recipe that I attempted with my Kalita Wave and has been the recipe that I find myself going back to, time after time.

Like most pour overs, the recipe requires a medium coarse grind.

Water temperature should be set to 204 degrees Fahrenheit and filter should be pre wet.

Your first pour will be a 30 second bloom at 30 grams of water.

Your second pour will be at 30 seconds and 60 grams of water.

Every pour after that will be in increments of 30 seconds at 45 grams a piece until 225 grams.
